2021 → Game Boy font



This foldable font promo poster is made for the ‘game boy’ font.    This modular typeface is inspired by the first game boy that was released in the 90’s.  Due to the low amount of pixels, the letters were very simplified. Although this aesthetic has a certain appeal, I wanted to make a more detailed version of these pixellated fonts by making it into a serif font.
    The colors refer to the green reflective screen, black letters and grey console.
